That makes the headline price a poor guide. The same 600 credits buy about 150 minutes of video with the Avatar III model but only about 19 minutes with Avatar IV, so the model you plan to use decides which plan you need.

HeyGen labels yearly billing "2 months free". Its help center says the number of custom avatar slots included can vary by region and by when the account was created; an extra slot costs $29 a month or $288 a year.

Pro is a single-seat plan at every tier. Only Business can buy extra credits on top of its allowance, at $0.05 a credit in blocks of 100; Creator and Pro users move up a tier instead.

Business totals add $240 a year per extra seat ($20 a month × 12). HeyGen states the seat price per month and does not list a separate yearly seat price. Separate Creator accounts give each person 600 credits but no shared workspace, SCORM or SSO.
What the free plan really allows
Free needs no credit card and includes 1 to 3 videos a month, depending on region, each up to one minute, with a HeyGen watermark and 720p sharing. You also get one custom avatar and one voice clone to test with. [1] [2]
It is a trial, not a way to publish. The one-minute cap and the watermark rule out most real videos, and there is no paid trial of the higher plans.
Rollover, refunds and cancelling
Unused credits on monthly plans carry over for one extra month. On yearly plans, credits arrive each month and build up until renewal. Credits are lost if you cancel down to Free. [2]
HeyGen says purchases are generally non-refundable. Web purchases can be refunded within 15 days at HeyGen's discretion, and a request may be refused if many credits were used. Cancelling a yearly plan does not refund or prorate the unused months, and pausing a subscription delays the next charge by 30 days but expires all credits when the pause starts. [3] [4]
