Bingeable vs Synthesia: Real Software Tutorials or AI Avatar Videos?

Synthesia turns a script into a video with an AI presenter. Bingeable turns a sentence into a tutorial of your real product being used. Both narrate; only one opens your software.

Synthesia makes videos from text. You write or paste a script, choose an AI avatar and a voice, add slides or media, and Synthesia renders a presenter speaking your script in any of more than 140 languages. It also turns documents and prompts into videos, dubs existing videos, and publishes by link, embed or SCORM. [1]

Bingeable makes software tutorials. You give it your product's URL and a sentence describing the task; an AI agent performs the task in a real browser and returns a narrated, captioned video of your actual interface, usually in about 10 minutes. If you want a presenter, your own digital twin can appear in a corner of that real footage. [2]

Quick answer

Pick Synthesia for presenter-led videos where the message is the point: training talks, policy and compliance modules, announcements and localized explainers. It starts at $14 a month billed yearly in its US price card for one editor. Pick Bingeable when the video has to show your web product doing a real task, such as how-to tutorials, onboarding and feature walkthroughs: the agent records it for you, from $39 a month billed annually for the whole workspace.

The core difference: a presenter or the product

Synthesia's strength is a credible presenter on demand. Script changes are cheap, because you edit the text and render again, and localization is its home ground. What it does not do is operate your software: to show an interface, you capture the screen yourself and place the recording in the scene. [1]

Bingeable's strength is the opposite. The agent opens your product, performs every click and page transition, and narrates what it did. There is no script to write and no screen to record, and when the interface changes, the same prompt produces an updated tutorial. [2]

So the deciding question is what the viewer needs to see. If it is a person explaining a policy, Synthesia. If it is the real product doing the job, Bingeable.

Paying for recording time?

Generate the tutorial instead of recording it.

Give Bingeable a URL and one sentence. The AI agent performs the workflow in a real browser and returns a narrated, captioned tutorial you can edit, translate and embed.

Where Synthesia is the better choice

Presenter-led training and communications: compliance modules, HR policies, leadership updates and course intros, where a face and a clear script matter more than any screen. [1]

Wide localization. Synthesia lists more than 140 languages for avatars and voices and dubs existing videos; Bingeable covers 15. [1]

LMS delivery. Synthesia publishes to SCORM (on Enterprise in its pricing), which training teams often need. Bingeable does not export SCORM.

Lowest entry price for one editor: Starter is $14 a month billed yearly in Synthesia's US price card. Outside the US the page showed us $18. [1]

Where Bingeable is the better choice

Tutorials that must show your web product. Onboarding flows, feature walkthroughs and help center how-tos need the real interface, and Bingeable records it without anyone at the keyboard.

Keeping a tutorial library current. A redesign means re-running prompts rather than re-recording screen footage for every video.

A team sharing one plan. Bingeable's plans cover the workspace; Synthesia's Starter and Pro include one editor, and more editors need Enterprise. [1]

A human presenter without a camera: your digital twin can present the tutorial over the real product footage. [2]

Frequently asked questions

  • Synthesia makes videos of an AI avatar presenting a script. Bingeable makes software tutorials: an AI agent performs a task in your real web product from a one-sentence prompt and narrates it, so the video shows your actual interface.
  • Not on its own. To show your interface in a Synthesia video, you record the screen yourself and add the footage to the scene. Bingeable's agent performs and records the workflow for you.
  • For one editor, yes: Synthesia Starter is $14 a month billed yearly in its US price card, against $39 for Bingeable Starter. Synthesia's Starter and Pro include one editor, while Bingeable's plans cover the whole workspace.
  • Bingeable offers a digital twin of you that presents the tutorial in a corner of the real product footage. It does not offer a library of stock avatars like Synthesia.
  • For presenter-led modules, policies and anything delivered through an LMS, Synthesia. For training people on a web application, where they need to see each click, Bingeable. Courses that mix both can use each tool for its part.

Final verdict

Synthesia and Bingeable solve different halves of the training video problem. Synthesia gives you a presenter, a script and dozens of languages; Bingeable gives you the real software, performed and narrated without a recording session. If your viewers need to see your web product in action, start with Bingeable; if they need someone to explain something to camera, start with Synthesia.
